Artificial intelligence (AI) as a concept has been around for 50 years, but the introduction of ChatGPT in late 2022 and the proliferation of generative AI since then has been truly disruptive. With all the conversation about the implications of AI (both good and bad), it can be hard to determine if and how to use the tools to your advantage. But, this human-like technology can be used to save you time and increase efficiency in your work when used thoughtfully and intentionally.  

Join JPro and Dr. Sarah Rubinson Levy for a Spotlight Master Class to explore the history of AI, and to learn how to begin using this technology in an empowered way for good. In this two-hour, interactive session, you will be introduced to AI and how its advancement is having an impact on our environment. You’ll learn how to develop prompts for ChatGPT specifically for efficiency, strategy, and creativity, so that you can begin using it and other AI tools to streamline your work. This course is designed for people who are interested in AI, but are not familiar with the technologies or tools. 

By the end of this class, you will: 

  • Understand what artificial intelligence (AI) is and why it’s a big deal now. 
  • Recognize how AI can be used for efficiency, strategy, and creativity.  
  • Be able to craft an effective prompt for ChatGPT. 
  • Walkaway with concrete examples of how to use AI to be more efficient at what you do.
