Using Generative AI to Advance Your Organization’s Mission: Opportunities and Challenges
How can Generative AI tools help advance your organization’s mission, while minimizing bias, maintaining sound ethics, and protecting privacy? During this workshop we will discuss essential things to understand about Generative AI to actively participate in your organization’s discussions about these tools. We will also outline the predominant concerns and risks associated with Generative AI and highlight risk mitigation actions most likely to address those concerns. Next, we will participate in a small group exercise where you will examine how to use Generative AI to help support and realize your organization’s strategic goals. We will end the session with reflections on the exercise and an open question and answer forum.

- Explore the predominant concerns and risks associated with Generative AI and risk mitigation actions most likely to address those concerns
