About the Position
The Operations Manager will ensure that JPRO’s systems are smart and efficient, enabling us to serve individuals and the field at the highest level. As JPRO Network’s fourth full-time employee, the Operations Manager will support the organization’s day-to-day operations and be an integral member of our highly collaborative team. This detail-oriented professional has a mastery of logistics and a passion for organization. They will come to know our database inside and out, and will assist with financial issues, administrative needs, and systems that support program design and implementation. The Operations Manager will be supervised by the Director of Program and Operations.

Responsibilities:
+Be our Resident Database Guru

Oversee data management of affiliate and member records in our database, NeonCRM·
Create and maintain event registration pages and their associated communications and inquiries
Develop creative, effective strategies to help JPRO staff source all reports, including metrics, data, and lists from the database

+Ensure our Continued Financial Health

Liaise with our accounting services company to manage our accounts payable and regular financial reporting
Manage credit card and expense-tracking systems
Manage and implement annual dues collection
Assist in preparing information for annual audit and taxes
Project-manage our annual budget process
Oversee the management (through a third party) of our endowments and reserve fund
Assist with review of existing policies and development of new policies

+Help Us Look Good

Regularly update JPRO’s public-facing websites
Research and recommend new platform for main website and other improvements
Oversee transition of main website to new platform

+Tackle Occasional Event Management

Organize the logistics for in-person board meetings twice a year and for remote board meetings
Coordinate with external vendors for catering, A/V, facilities & other event-related items for JPRO conference

+Contribute to our Culture and Health

Manage relationship with benefits provider for U.S.-based employees
Review and strengthen HR policies and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws

+Overall Responsibilities
As a highly collaborative organization with a nimble and entrepreneurial culture, all staff members take on a range of projects and responsibilities
This position includes occasional travel, likely to be five trips per year, to attend conferences, to staff the JPRO conference, and to attend staff and Board meetings

Required Experience

Exemplary track record of operations-related work
Strong history of preparing reports
Experience working with NeonCRM or similar database
Knowledge of the landscape of Jewish organizations and Jewish life in the U.S. and Canada or demonstrated ability to build this knowledge quickly and with relative ease
A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience

Salary and Benefits:
$70-80,000 (depending on experience and location); health benefits; retirement contribution; paid time off and parental leave; work culture that pairs high expectations and accountability with significant flexibility.
