Michelle Day (she/her) joined Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta as Director of Leadership Development, with a portfolio to expand leadership opportunities for Federation and communal professionals and community volunteers. She spearheads the local JPro chapter and provides coaching/mentorship to colleagues both at Federation and in the wider Jewish community.
Michelle’s professional background has been largely focused on business, professional development, and community leadership.
She served as President & CEO of the Rockville, Maryland Chamber of Commerce and has participated in numerous public leadership programs including Leadership Montgomery County Maryland, and the Sandy Spring Citizens Police Academy. Before joining Federation, Michelle worked for Jewish Family Career Services’ Helping Atlantans Manage Substance Abuse (HAMSA) Program.
Michelle grew up in the Washington, DC suburbs and moved to Sandy Springs in 2018 with her husband, Barton, and 2 daughters, Elianna and Sophia. She volunteers at the Epstein School's Parent Teacher Organization and is active with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
