Jonathan Lev (he/him) joined the Boulder JCC in 2010 as the organization’s second Executive Director. Under his leadership, the Boulder JCC successfully embarked on a $30M capital campaign to realize the dream of building a new 10-acre campus for the Boulder community which opened in June 2016. Jonathan is a passionate educator and entrepreneur. He combines his experience as a former camp director and work at Renewable Choice, a Boulder-based start-up, to influence his leadership as a nonprofit executive.
He was certified as a high school teacher and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in theoretical mathematics and diploma in education from CU Boulder. Later, he was selected as a Taub Fellow at New York University in the dual-master’s degree program for a Master in Public Administration in Nonprofit Management (MPA) and Master in Hebrew and Judaic Studies (MA). Jonathan has spoken both nationally and internationally about creating and engaging community through philanthropy and ways to make it fun. He has traveled to over 40 countries, was a former gymnast, and is proud to share that his first job out of college was a door-to-door salesman. He and his wife Lyndsay live in Boulder, CO with their two daughters, Mira and Susanna.
