Spotlight: Giving Tuesday

Emily Goodstein of Greater Good Strategy

#GivingTuesday is November 30 this year but IT’S NOT TOO LATE to put together an effective strategy to make the most of this online fundraising Superbowl Sunday. Even with the simplest plan in place, #GivingTuesday is a great opportunity for your organization to raise funds, gain new donors, and build momentum for end-of-year giving.

Each year, millions of people are inspired to give and volunteer for causes they care about on #GivingTuesday. And the significance keeps growing. Last year, 34.8 million people in the US participated in #GivingTuesday, helping nonprofits raise $2.47 BILLION IN DONATIONS. Emily Goodstein of Greater Good Strategy will teach you everything you need to know to build a strategy and implement it in time for the big day. Even if you’ve never done a #GivingTuesday or end-of-year campaign before, you can still make it happen.

This class is for you if:

  • You are wondering how to make the most of #GivingTuesday but not sure where to start.
  • Or: you've tried to use the holiday to raise money in the past but haven't had much success.
  • Or: you're anti #GivingTuesday and don't know what all the fuss is about.

This class is not for you if:
