Cheryl Cook is CEO of Avodah, developing a network of Jewish leaders to be social changemakers in the United States. Before Avodah, Cheryl was COO at Hazon, and has worked for close to thirty years at a myriad of incredible Jewish organizations including JESNA, New Israel Fund, Hillel, the 92nd Street Y, and more. An alumna of the Selah Leadership program, the Advancing Women Professionals Action Learning Team, and the Institute for Jewish Executive Leadership through Columbia University Business School and UJA-Federation of New York, Cheryl earned her M.A. from Jewish Theological Seminary, her M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University, and her B.A. from University of Wisconsin. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, Devin Cohen, and their two sons, Isaac and Max.
